1 Peter 2:3-5, “3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.  4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”

As you simply walk through the passage above, you discover where the Lord is gracious; He’s a Living Stone, rejected of mankind, but chosen of God, and “precious!”  You also find that we too are commanded to be as lively (precious) stones, built up as a Spiritual house, a holy priesthood, and are to offer sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ!

Guys, here is my Encouraging Word to you today.  Jesus was “precious.”  He commands us to become “precious.”  And here it is, gentlemen: when you become “precious to God,” you become “important to Satan.”  Let me say that again:  When you become precious to God, you become important to Satan.  So, be vigilant.  Remember, the thief comes in the night.  And “… he cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy …” (John 10:10a)

Hey, I hope you preach gooooood Sunday.  Preach like a dying man to dying people.  Let ‘er rip, ‘Tater Chip!  Remember, if you can talk on Monday – you didn’t preach on Sunday! J

I prayed for you today!
