That was the scenario we at Beech Springs Baptist Church faced this fall. We were staying busy with activities for the church and wrestling repetitive services, which were not producing the fruits we had hoped and prayed for. I don't think I can really put into words what a blessing it is to know Bro Aaron … I know that I would not be in the position of pastoring had God not used Bro Aaron to guide us as we restarted a closed work and now to see it a self-sufficient church … He guided us to and through the process of revitalizing a church that many though has seen its last days. Bro Aaron has been involved in every step, preaching, teaching, and mentoring us to where we are today. Most of all he has been my friend … Thank you Bro Aaron for all you have done and do to enable preachers to reach past the roadblocks of ministry to effectively reach lost and hurting people with the power of Christ.

Brother Aaron is an anointed preacher of the gospel that has a dynamic ability to present sermons that are relevant to people of a diversity of denominations as he follows the leading of the Holy Spirit. He has preached at our church on a number of occasions and is well received by the congregation. In addition to serving as pastor of the Hogansville Church of God, I also lead a worship service for a biker group that meets early on Sunday morning at a local restaurant, HAWG Heaven BBQ. Aaron is well received by this group as well. My wife and I are blessed to have a wonderful friendship with Aaron and Marianne and know that we can call on them at any time. Brother Aaron endeavors to present the gospel truths and point others to the way of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. The ministry of Brother Aaron would be a blessing to any church.

Bro Aaron came and preached revival in September 2016. Wow! What a great time we had! We are still enjoying the revival, people are still talking, and some committed themselves to be faithful to God - after the revival. We have had families join the church, and above all, four souls, ages 8 - 21, gave their lives to Jesus! Our Lord Jesus used Bro. Aaron to stir our hearts at Westside. We laughed, we cried, and even shouted some! Every night was awesome. People texted or called me all throughout the week saying that they couldn’t wait to get to the service that night. I count Bro. Aaron as a friend now. He is like someone I have known my whole life. Not only does the church get a blessing; he has a heart for preachers also. It was my sheer pleasure to attend a series of revival services led by Rev. Aaron McCollough who is a most captivating and colorful evangelist for Christ! He wears many hats while preaching, combining the giftedness of a stand-up comedian, serious Bible teacher, creative storyteller and profound and powerful preacher of God’s Word –not to mention his ability to reel-in the souls he fishes for with utter sincerity and above all spirituality. God’s Spirit guides Aaron and his homespun humor wrapped in Biblical insights!

I met Bro Aaron 15 years ago when he was selected to lead the Troup Baptist Association as their Associational Missionary. My assignment was to "mentor" him and introduce associational work to him. I remember our first meeting for breakfast. When we finished I said something like, "Well, we crammed six months into two hours!” Bro. Aaron had all the tools and gifts needed to do the work. He surely did not need my help. I also found out over the last 15 years that Bro. Aaron does not need my help regarding preaching, witnessing, living the Christian life, or anything else. He is the complete and real deal. The joy of the Lord radiates from his heart and springs forth into the hearts of those around him. His walk with God has birth forth conservative values, an undying love for others and for Jesus, as well as a clear conscious and integrity of life. I am glad to highly recommend Aaron McCollough to any pastor, church, or group that needs to see the real deal.

I have known and worked with Aaron for over 30 years. I find him to be a true called man of God. Aaron has stayed true and faithful to God and to the preaching of His word. I find Aaron to be of great integrity and morals. He is a true and faithful friend.

After hearing Bro. Aaron speak at an Associational meeting I knew that he was the man to preach during our next scheduled revival services. Between 2012 and 2015, we were blessed to have Bro. Aaron lead in three effective revivals and two wonderful Valentine Banquets at Faceville Baptist Church. During the last revival services, after having announced my transition from vocational ministry to pulpit supply and interim ministry, I told Bro. Aaron that if the opportunity came I would be calling him to come and lead again in revival services. The opportunity came, Bro. Aaron was called, and we were truly blessed. Bro. Aaron's unique style, his faithfulness to God's Word, his love for God, the Word and God's people are evident not only in his messages but in his life. I have had the pleasure of spending time with him during these services and quickly realized that he lives the truths he preaches - extremely important! I am thankful for his faithfulness, his friendship, and his advice on several occasions.
