A Little About Bro Aaron
Fresh Fire Ministries is an evangelistic outreach ministry that features the revival/special meeting preaching, prayer, humor, leadership mentoring, and inspirational writings of our founder and director, Rev. Aaron McCollough.
He is a lifelong resident of Troup County, Georgia and is married to the former Marianne Hale of LaGrange, Georgia. They were married in 1974. Currently, they have four children, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
His pastoral ministry began in 1978 and he has served several churches in and around Troup County, Georgia. From 2001 until December 31, 2021 he served as the Associational Missionary of the Troup Baptist Association. Beginning January 1, 2022, Rev. McCollough began a new pastoral ministry as Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Roanoke, AL.
Rev. McCollough is a much sought after revival speaker, special events speaker, humorist, and leadership mentor in the West Georgia, East Alabama, and Tennessee area. He is also a published author, having published two books, and his weekly writings are featured in The Hogansville Herald, The Harris County Journal, The Meriwether County Vindicator, The Franklin Times-Journal, and The Heard County Citizen. They are also published in the Troup Baptist Association monthly newsletter: The Messenger.
