Pastors, we are engaged in one of the most noble yet frustrating contests ever known to man: Contesting with the devil while leading a local congregation of Christians. In the heat of the battle we sometimes lose our perspective, our thought process becomes distorted, we become disorientated, and we wonder if we are making the right decisions. My encouragement to you this week is to remember that no matter how fiercely you may be engaged in this great contest, there will come a time for all of us when we will leave the field. The cheerleaders will be gone. The stands will be empty and filled with plastic cups. And the scoreboard will be turned off. When this happens, what’s left? Only one thing: Our integrity. So, my encouraging word to you today is really, really simple – in all you do make sure that when the contest is over you leave the field with you integrity intact.
Hey, I prayed for you today and I hope you preach good Sunday. Let ‘er rip, Tater Chip!
Brother Aaron
